shape Concept

Artificial language problems are as follows: standard words from the English are given and some translations of these words is to be done in an artificial language. The final part of the solution to an artificial language question requires to predict how an another word will look like in artificial language.

shape Model Problems

Model 1: Some words are translated from an artificial language are given below: migerlasan means cupboard. lasanpoen means boardwalk. cuopdansa means pullman. Which word could mean "walkway" from the following words? a) poenmigen b) cuopeisel c) lasandansa d) poenforc Solution:
Given that cupboard is written as migerlasan, boardwalk is written as lasanpoen, pullman is written as cuopdasan in artificial language. So, from first two words, since board is common in both and written as lasan. i.e. board = lasan. Then, walk = poen. cup = migen. Also given pullman is translated into cuopdansa. Therefore, need to find what means "walkway". walk = poen But from given options there are two words with poen. Clearly, as migen is cup. Then, forc is way. Therefore, poenforc means "walkway".
Model 2: Some words are translated from an artificial language are given below: gorblflur means fan belt. pixngorbl means ceiling fan. arthtusl means tile roof. Which word could mean "ceiling tile" from the following words? a) gorbltusl b) flurgorbl c) arthflur d) pixnarth Solution:
Given that fan belt is written as gorblflur, ceiling fan is written as pixngorbl, tile roof is written as arthtusl in artificial language. So, from first two words, since fan is common in both and written as gorbl. i.e. fan = gorbl. ceiling = pixn. Also given, arthtusl means tile roof. Now, need to find what means "ceiling tile". So, from the options there is only one word with pixn. Therefore, ceiling tile = pixnarth ie. pixnarth means ceiling tile.
Model 3: Some words are translated from an artificial language are given below: moolokarn means blue sky. wilkospadi means bicycle race. mootowilko means blue bicycle. Which word could mean "ceiling tile" from the following words? a) wilkozwet b) moolobreil c) spadivolo d) spadiwilko Solution:
Given that Blue sky is written as moolokarn, bicycle race is written as wilkospadi, blue bicycle is written as mootowilko in artificial language. So, from first and third words, it is clear that blue = moolo. Need to find what means "ceiling tile". From second and third combinations, bicycle is wilko. So, race = spadi. Two words from options are with spadi. As it is clear that wilko = bicycle, the answer is spadivolo. Therefore, spadivolo means ceiling tile.
Model 4: Some words are translated from an artificial language are given below: lelibroon means yellow hat. plekafroti means flower garden. frotimix means garden salad. Which word could mean "yellow flower" from the following words? a) lelifroti b) lelipleka c) plekabroon d) frotibroon Solution:
Given that yellow hat is written as lelibroon, flower garden is written as plekafroti, garden salad is written as frotimix in artificial language. So, from second and third combination garden = froti Then, flower = pleka. salad = mix Need to find what means "yellow flower". There are two words from options with pleka. but required the word ending with pleka as it is asked to find yellow flower. Therefore, lelipleka means yellow flower.
Model 5: Some words are translated from an artificial language are given below: tamceno means sky blue. cenorax means blue cheese. apmiti means star bright. Which word could mean "bright sky" from the following words? a) cenotam b) mitltam c) raxmiti d) apiceno Solution:
Given that sky blue is written as tamceno, blue cheese is written as cenorax, star bright is written as apmiti in artificial language. So, from first and second words, blue = ceno. Then, sky = tam and rax = cheese. Need to find what is "bright sky". Sky is places last and already it is known that sky = tam. There are two options with tam in the last. Already ceno = blue. so, cenotam is not possible. Hence, bright sky is written as mitltam. i.e. mitltam means bright sky.
