Responsibilities:

Review existing literature and development materials on awareness generation on disaster management.

Identify key media experts and facilitate effective awareness generation initaitives

Develop and execute media plan for the organization

Maintain the repository of documentation, document, IEC material etc. on development sector

Handle both print and media including ability for demostration of information from media on short notice

Facilitate and coordinate for preparation of multi-hazard Disaster Management plans of the District, Blocks, GPs and Villages along with Government functionaries

Assisting the Deputy Commissioner in performing all activities related to disaster management.

Facilitating establishment of control rooms at District and block levels for Disaster Management Information dissemination.
