The above physical standards are coupled with medical standards. Though there is a list of medical standards which are to be followed, some of the most important ones are listed below:
- Medical standards as laid down by the CAPF are to be strictly followed and adhered to by the candidates. A complete medical check-up of the entire body comes strictly under the regulation.
- Measurement of weight, both for the record as well as for the decision regarding the fitness for the job shall play a major role.
- In the naked eye, your vision needs to be as good as 6/6 or 6/9 of both the eyes.
- Other medical standards that need to be followed include the absence of the following, which makes you eligible for the exam:
- Knock-knees
- Varicose Veins
- Color Vision
- Squint
Test
Tests conducted for the CISF Constable
- The tests which are conducted to check the eligibility for the CISF constable test the physical aspects and the well-being of the person. The CISF constable test looks forward to measuring the physical efficiency of the person.
- The candidates are passed through the height bar test, in which it is checked whether the candidates have a certain minimum level of the height which is required for a particular post. After the height test is done, it is followed by the physical efficiency test in which the candidate will be scheduled to run a timed test covering around 2 km within a stipulated time of 6.5 minutes.
