Conditional Sentences Practice Quiz

shape Introduction

Conditional Sentences, also known as conditional clauses or 'if clauses' are used to denote that 'the action in the main clause (without if) can only take place if a certain condition (in the clause with if) is fulfilled'. Conditional Sentences Practice Quiz assists learners in learning about Conditional Clauses. Example: You will succeed provided you work hard.
Conditional tenses are used to speculate about what could happen, what might have happened, and what we wish would happen. Most sentences using the conditional clauses include the word if.
Conditional sentences are of three types: 1. When 'if clause' is in present tense. 2. When 'if clause' is in past tense. 3. When 'if clause' is in past perfect tense.
