Percentage of Reservation given TSPSC are BC(A)- 07% ; BC(B)-10% ; BC(C)- 01% ; BC(D)-07% ;BC(E)-04%, ST- 06%; SC-15%.

OC: 40%, BC: 35%, SC&ST: 30% qualifying percentage of minimum marks. Be that as it may, the number of competitors called for Interview will be chosen basing on the proportion of the number of people called for Interview ratio to the number of posts from time-to-time as fixed by the Commission, in other words attaining minimum qualifying marks does not guarantee call for Interview. The candidates age is calculated based on the date of birth provided by the candidate and the exact age of the candidate on the first day of July of the year (Example: Age as on 01/07/2017 ) in which the Commission published the Notification for that specific post is used for verifying the minimum and maximum age for eligibility. If the candidate is found underaged/overaged as on the date aforementioned, the candidate will be ineligible for the selection.

General Recruitment: Candidates belonging to all communities can apply for the vacancies, and, reservations as prescribed by the Government should be relevant for candidates belonging to OC,BC, SC,ST, PH & Women.
Limited Recruitment: These are exceptional recruitment for filling up of unfilled opportunities from previous recruitment belonging to reserved categories of SC and ST only.

The reservation for women candidates to the degree of 33 1/3 % for direct recruitment was made effective from 28/05/1996. (G.O.Ms.No: 237 GA (Ser-D) Dept., dated: 28/05/1996).

OTR is a one time registration process. Hence, a candidate should do OTR only once.
