IDBI SO Selection Process

The IDBI SO Selection Process involves the phases like preliminary screening based on the eligibility criteria, candidate's qualifications, suitability/ experience, etc. submitted online. Only candidates who will satisfy the online application areas will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and/ or Personal Interview (PI).

IDBI SO Selection Process - Process:
  • There is no written exam for IDBI SO, and candidate needs to satisfy the areas like Eligibility, candidate's qualifications, and suitability/ experience.

  • One should qualify in Preliminary Screening after satisfying all the areas like Eligibility, candidate's qualifications, and suitability/ experience.
  • The main purpose of the Preliminary Screening is to choose the Right and suitable candidates.
  • Depending upon the number of vacancies and number of suitable candidates, Bank reserves the right to pre-screen and shortlist a requisite number of prima-facie eligible candidates for Grades ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’ and ‘E’.

  • Preliminary screening and shortlisting will depend on the online submission of the Candidate of his/her academic track record, experience and the suitability of the candidate as decided by the respective Bank.

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

  • There is no chance for changing the center until the respective bank takes the final decision regarding the changes in the centers.

  • Candidates not satisfying (or) qualifying the GD/PI will not be considered for the final process of selection.

  • The Bank has the right to change/ add/ cancel the date, time, center, venue for the GD and/ or PI or hold supplementary selection process on particular date/ session/ venue/ center for a set of candidates.
  • IDBI SO Selection will be on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in Personal Interview.

  • Total marks allotted for Personal Interview is 100.

  • The minimum qualifying marks for PI would be 50 for General Category and 45 for SC/ST/OBC/PWD Category.

  • Bank may change the mode of selection depending upon the number of suitable candidates.

  • The final score should be sufficiently high in the merit list for the candidate to be shortlisted for the subsequent process.

The final selection of the candidate will depend on the candidate qualification in GD/PI
  • High in the merit list

  • Candidates need to be declared medically fit as per the Bank’s fitness of standards

  • Satisfying the eligibility criteria as on the cut-off date.

  • Candidate with the same cut-off situation will be managed by taking the age descending order into consideration.
