3. Will the exam conducted online or offline (OMR Based)? The exam will be conducted online.
1. How should I download Indian Bank PO Admit Card? Visit the official Indian Bank website and click on the link for PO exam. Enter your roll number and DOB/ Password and then save the admit card to your computer.

1. Are there sectional cut-offs for Indian Bank recruitment? Yes, the candidates must clear cut-offs in each of the three sections (English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability) in their Prelims examination to be shortlisted for the Mains examination, where they again need to clear sectional cut-offs (as well as an overall cut-off) to be shortlisted for the interview, which also has a minimum qualifying marks that must be cleared by the candidates to be shortlisted.
2. Is there negative marking in the Indian Bank recruitment examinations? Yes, there shall be a deduction of 25% of the marks assigned to a question for every wrong answer attempt made to it by the candidate. If a question is left blank, though, there will be no penalties for not answering it.
3. What are the minimum qualifying marks in the interview? The total marks allotted to interview is 100, out of which 40% is the minimum qualifying marks for GEN/UR category candidates and 35% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates.
1. Will there be an interview after the Main Exam? Yes, Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Main examination may subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Bank. The intimation will be sent by email and sms to the registered email ID and mobile number. Interviews will be conducted at selected centres.

All students who successfully clear a 9-month campus course at the Indian Bank Manipal School of Banking and a 3-month internship with any branch of Indian Bank will receive a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) from the Manipal School of Banking.
2. What are the fees for the Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) program? The total fees for the PGDBF by Indian Bank Manipal School of Banking is INR 3,50,000 plus taxes. The amount is inclusive of all factors such as boarding, lodging, course fees, other fees, etc.
3. Is there a loan facility to pay the fees for the PGDBF program? Yes, selected candidates will be extended the educational loan facility to the shortlisted candidates if they agree to the terms and conditions relevant to the educational loan facility extended by Indian Bank.
4. What is the structure for repayment of the educational loan from Indian Bank? The first EMI is payable 1 month after the completion of the PGDBF program (which is 13 months from the time of admission). There shall be no recovery of the EMIs from the students while they are undergoing their studies; alternatively, the EMIs are spread out over a period of 84 months or 7 years.
5. Is there a chance of Indian Bank refunding the loan/interest amount to the candidate? Yes, there is a possibility that the loan/ interest paid by the candidate to Indian Bank shall be refunded to them in form of annual installments following the completion of the 5th year of service. However, this is subject to the sole discretion of Indian Bank, but such a possibility exists for candidates who continue to serve Indian Bank.
6. What grade scale will the candidates who successfully complete the 1-year PGDBF program be placed in? All candidates who successfully complete Manipal’s 1-year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) will be recruited in the Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I).
7. What is the salary that will be paid upon the placement at Indian Bank? The gross salary and emoluments paid to POs at Indian Bank shall be as applicable in the Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I) rank.
