1. What are the essential educational qualifications for RPF Constable? A candidate must hold Matriculation certificate from a recognized Board.
2. What are the essential Age limit criteria for RPF Constable? On 01.07.2018 the age of the candidate, applying for RPF Constable post shall be between 18-25 years.
3. What is the Nationality/Citizenship criteria for RPF Constable? A candidate must be a citizen of India.
4. What is the criteria for Age Relaxation for Different Categories? Age Relaxation for Eligible categories are SC/ST - 5 years OBC - 3 years PWD - 10 years

1. What are the RPF Constable Online Application Starting and Ending Dates? Date of Opening of Online registration: 10 hrs on 01-06-2018. Date of Closing of Online registration: 23.59 hrs on 30-06-2018.
2. What is the Application fee for RPF Constable?

RPF Constables For all candidates except the fee concession categories mentioned below * Rs.400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges on appearing in CBT. Rs.500/-
For candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex.Serviceman/ Female/ Minorities/ Economically backward class. * This fee of Rs.250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges on appearing in CBT. Rs.250/-

3. What is the mode of payment of fee? Online fee payment through internet baking or debit/credit cards. Offline fee payment through
  • SBI Bank Challan payment mode in any branch of SBI.
  • Post office Challan Payment Mode in any branch of computerized Post Office.

4. What is the last date for making payment through online and offline? The online payment will be allowed till 23.59 hrs of 02.07.2018 and offline payment will be allowed till 23.59 hrs of 05.07.2018 for candidates who register themselves till 23.59 hrs of 30.06.2018.
5. What are the choice of exam languages for CBT test? Candidates shall have following language options for Computer Based Test (CBT) out of which they shall have to opt for any one: Hindi, English, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Gujurati, Bengali, Odia, Punjabi, Assamese and Manipuri.
1. Will all the applied candidates get the admit card for RPF Constable? Candidates can verify their eligibility status from the website. SMS and email messages will be sent to all eligible candidates about the e-call letter upload details.
2. Will the Indian Railways send the RPF Constable Admit card by post? No call letter will be sent to candidates by post.
3. What are the documents to be carried along with RPF Constable Admit card? Candidates must bring their e-call letters along with a valid Photo ID such as Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, printout of e-Aadhaar, Passport, Identity Card issued by the employer in case the candidate is a Govt. Employee, School / College / University Photo ID card in ORIGINAL to the examination hall.
4. Where to report for any delay in the Admit card 2018? Candidates who did’nt received the admit card need to immediately contact the HELP DESK.
5. What is the size of the Photograph Image? Candidate Photograph in colour JPEG image of size 15 to 40 KB.
6. How do i download my Call letter/Admit card? Candidates are advised to visit the official website and login with the ID & Password. Then download the Admit Card 2018 directly.

3. Is score card for previous year tests valid for recruitment in current year? No, the validity of RPF Constable Score card will automatically expire without prior notice.
1. Will candidates have to through any training period The candidates will have to undergo an initial training in any one of the RPF/RPSF training centre as decided by the Railway Administration after clearing all the phases.
2. What will be the pay scale for Constable in RPF/RPSF? During the training the stipend of Rs.21700 + other allowances.
3. How many chances will be given to the candidates for clearing the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) RPF Constable? The candidates will get only one chance of 1600 and 800 metre race. But there will be two chances for high jump and long jump applicable to all categories.
