The Category wise vacancy furnished in the Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) 03/2018_published on the Employement News dated 29-12-2018, has been reduced as below due to revision of vacancies by the Railways.
Further, it may be noted that, category wise vacancies indicated above as well as the Railway wise and designation wise vacancies furnished as Annexure-B in the Detailed CEN published on the websites of RRBs on 29-12-2018, are provisional and may increase or decrease in total or in specific Units/ Communities/ Posts at a later stage depending upon the actual needs of the Railway Administration.

While choosing the exam group during Online Application process, the last paragraph of Para 13.2 of the Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) 03/2018 has been further amplified, for the benefit of the candidates, as under:
“A candidate possessing more than one minimum educational qualification, mapped to different Exam Groups, can choose any one Exam Group, provided he/ she opts for the post(s) whose educational qualification is mapped to the chosen exam group. However, these candidates would be eligible for all the opted posts”.
