The RRB JE Salary is different during the training period and after the training period. Also, there is a huge hike in RRB JE Salary after the 7th Pay Commision has been introduced. RRB JE Salary and Perks are as discussed below.

1. During Training
  • Candidates who are qualified in the RRB JE exam will be appointed as Junior Engineers in Indian Railways.

  • Initially, candidates will have to go through a training period to know the work culture and duties to be carried out as Junior Engineer in Railways.

  • Candidates will receive around Rs. 34,500 in hand during the training period.

2. After Training
  • Once the candidate completes his/ her training period, they will receive other allowances like HRA and TA as well as incentives. So, candidates working as Junior Engineers in Railways will receive around Rs.42,000 per month after their training period.

  • After the training period, candidates will be posted in locations. The RRB JE Salary will depend upon their location of posting.

  • The Indian Railways have divided cities into 3 classes and candidate will receive the salary according to the class of the city they are posted in. The three classes are listed below:
      Class A: Metropolis Class B: Metropolis + Other Big Cities Class C: Village + Small Cities

RRB JE Salary for Junior Engineers according to their job location is as listed below:
