Introduction
Time management is vital in obtaining a good score in any competitive exam. Thus, knowledge of the RRB NTPC Exam Pattern, RRB NTPC Exam Syllabus and primarily RRB NTPC Exam Duration is very crucial to increase efficiency, accuracy, productivity and primarily to be able to complete the exams in the allotted exam duration.
The RRB NTPC Selection Process for Graduate & Undergraduate Posts shall involve four stages: 1st stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd stage CBT, CBAT/ Typing Skill Test and Document Verification/ Medical Examination as applicable.
Duration
1. RRB NTPC Exam Duration - 1st stage CBT:

3. RRB NTPC Exam Duration - CBAT:
Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) (Only for candidates who have opted for Traffic Assistant and Station Master)
Qualifying marks: The candidates need to secure a minimum T-Score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries to qualify. This is applicable to all candidates irrespective of community or category i.e. irrespective of SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ EWS/ PwBD/ Ex SM and no relaxation in the minimum T- Score is permissible.
4. RRB NTPC Exam Duration - TST:
The candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.
For guidelines of those who appear for typing skill test in Hindi, Kruti Dev and Mangal font shall be made available for Typing skill test (TST) on Personal Computer.
The duration of test may be TEN (10) minutes.
Note:
CANDIDATES REPORTING LATE i.e. after the reporting time specified on the call letter for Examination will not be permitted to take the examination.
The reporting time mentioned on the call letter is prior to the Start Time of the test.
