SAT Test Center Policies

What are the Policies of SAT Test Center?
  • Like every other exam, the SAT Test Center Policies has to do with set out plans, terms and conditions, rules and regulations guiding or adopted by the College Board to bring orderliness or guides for the successful administration of SAT in a test center.

  • Once these Policies are observed by an aspirant, a registered test taker is allowed to sit for the exams in the allocated test center and obtain the SAT Scores without any hindrance.

What are the approved requirements for an aspirant in a test center?
  • Every SAT center opens on the exam date at exactly 7:45am for admission of aspirants into the hall and by 8:00am the test center door closes.

  • The administration of the test begins between 8:30 – 9:00 am. Any Aspirant that comes when testing has started won’t be allowed to enter the test center but might consider the SAT Reschedule as an option.

  • A test taker is mandated to have and provide an Admission Ticket, a Valid Photo ID that meets the SAT ID Requirements and other documents granted by the Board.

  • An aspirant is only allowed entrance into the test center with a SAT Approved Calculator (i.e. the use of graphing or scientific calculator is allowed but the four-function calculator is meant for a test taker granted SAT Disability Accommodation).

  • No form of notes or any electronic devices like phones, audio player or recorder, camera etc. are permitted for entrance into the test hall.

  • >Writing materials like No.2 Pencils (at least two) and clear eraser are expected from an aspirant to avoid disturbance during the course of the test.

  • A watch without an audible alarm is recommended for any aspirant that wishes to keep a personal timing for the exam.

  • An aspirant might bring along some miscellaneous items like snacks, water, calculator batteries etc. which the test taker can have access to during breaks because they won’t be allowed in the test hall unless otherwise stated by the coordinators.
What is required of an aspirant during test administration?
  • An aspirant is not allowed to leave the test center for any reason what so ever, even during the break period unless if dismissed.

  • No discussion whatsoever concerning the exam content of the SAT test should be observed during breaks among test takers.

  • No form of cheating like exchanging answer, question sheets or written materials, impersonation etc. should be witnessed from any aspirant.

  • An aspirant or test taker is expected to either start or stop when signaled by the Invigilators.

  • Utilize assigned time because there is no skipping or going back to any section.

  • A test taker should always listen attentively and carry out instructions as pronounced by the coordinators.

  • Two break periods of 5mins and 10mins are observed in the course of testing.

  • For any question or inquiry whatsoever should be directed to the instructors.
What is required of a test taker after test administration?
  • A test taker is not allowed to discuss or post the contents of a just concluded SAT Test.

  • There is a makeup test date or alternative center in case of Test Center Closure due to natural disasters, power failure etc.
