1. What is the eligibility criteria for SSC CGL 2019? Educational Qualification – Graduation from any university.
Age Limit Criteria – 18-27 years. If the candidates age between 18 to 27 years, then they can apply for any of the SSC CGL Exam.
2. How many attempts are there for SSC CGL 2019? There is no restriction on number of attempts.
3. I have given my final year graduation exams but the result has not been declared yet. Can I apply? Those who are in the Final Year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 01.01.2020.

1. How many vacancies are released for SSC CGL 2020? The number of vacancies will be determined at the time of Document Verification i.e. about one month before the declaration of the final results.
1. Will the exam be conducted online or offline? Written Exam for SSC CGL will be conducted in online mode. Only Tier-III, descriptive paper will be conducted offline - pen and paper mode.
2. Is negative marking applicable in SSC CGL? There will be negative marking of 0.5 for each wrong answer in Tier-I. In Tier-II, there is negative marking system of 0.25 for each wrong answer in paper II - English Language & Comprehension and 0.50 for each wrong answer in Paper-I, Paper III and Paper IV of Tier II.
1. SSC CGL 2020 Exam would be online or offline? SSC CGL 2020 Exam would be online.
2. What is the application Fee? Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/ Ex-Servicemen candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/-
Last date for submission of applications: 25-11-2019.
Pay by Cash” Mode option will be deactivated at 23.59 hours.
3. Can I fill the application form offline? No. You have to fill the application form online.
4. I’m in the last semester/ last year of college? Can I apply? Yes, If your final result/mark sheet is declared before 01.01.2020 then you are eligible.
5. Is there any percentage criteria to apply for SSC CGL [2019-2020] Exam? There is no minimum percentage criteria to apply for SSC CGL [2019-2020] Examination.
6. What should be the format of photo and signature image? It should be in JPG format.
7. What should be the size of the Photo and Signature to be uploaded while filling the SSC CGL Application form? The digital size of the photograph must be more than 4 KB and less than 20 KB. The digital size of the signature must be more than 1 KB and less than 12 KB.
8. Can I pay the Application fee offline and What is the Application fee? Yes, you can submit the Application form fee offline also. First you have to generate challan online and then visit a nearby bank to submit your fee. Fee amount is 100 Rs. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance.
1. What if i don’t Download SSC CGL Hall Ticket? In case you have obtained this issue then try after 5 minutes after admit card released.
2. What if Login window show invalid response? Candidates need to enter their login details correctly.
3. What if I Forget Roll Number/ Registration Number. Aspirants can download the admit card by name, father’s name & date of birth.
4. Where do report for SSC CGL Admit Card Correction? If you have any issue in SSC CGL Admit Card then you can report immediately to SSC Help-desk.
5. What do when i don’t receive SSC CGL Admit Card before Exam? All applicants will able to download SSC CGL Admit Card 2020 from official website. In case any candidate doesn’t receive call letter then contact to the regional office with, Registration number, Hard copy of the application, Transaction details copy of SBI Bank, etc.

SSC CGL (2018-2019) Tier-IV exam date - 29th December 2019
1. Will there be any interview after the written exam result? No, there will be no Interview round for SSC CGL Recruitment.
2. May I know for which posts interviews are conducted as a part of selection procedure? There are no interviews for any of the posts under SSC CGL Recruitment. The para 9.2 of the official notification for SSC CGL Recruitment 2020 clearly states that – “9.2 Interview component has been dispensed with. There will, therefore, be no interview.”
