SSC Stenographer Roles
Writing/ Transcribing Speeches Stenographers work under the Minister or Senior Officer of the Ministry/ Department in which they are posted. They have to note down the speeches of Minister/ Senior Officer. This is the most common job of SSC Stenographers.
Providing assistance to the Minister or Officer they are working for Stenographers have to help and assist the Minister/ Senior Officer in preparing speeches for them as well as for other works in their office.
Helping in public relations Since SSC Stenographers note down everything, so they have proper knowledge about various activities and processes. This expertise is then used by Public Relations officers.
Press conference briefings Stenographers have to attend various press conferences and meetings and make notes of the speeches of the Ministers or Officers.
