The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC), a constitutional body, established under Article 315 of Constitution of India was formed on June 2, 2014. Created by the Constitution of India, TSPSC is primarily responsible for recruiting aspirants for civil services jobs in the Indian state of Telangana based on the merits of the applicants, the recruitment exams and the rules of reservation. TSPSC ensures a smooth and efficient functioning of the Government of Telangana by recruiting eligible candidates for various Government posts. The official website of TSPSC was launched on 11 April 2015, by governor E. S. L. Narasimhan. Ghanta Chakrapani was appointed as the first chairman for TSPSC, who is a professor at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University.
The establishment of the commission was a significant landmark during the Asaf Jahi rule and was responsible for bringing the entire administrative machinery of civil services of the Nizam’s State in tune with the modern times. Hyderabad Civil Service was considered a coveted and elite service in those days.

Telangana Forest Department is one of the administrative divisions of Government of Telangana. It is headed by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests. The primary function of this department is protection, conservation, and management of forests in the Telangana State.
The overall objective of the Telangana Forest Department is to conserve biodiversity and eco-systems of forests and wilderness areas to ensure water security and food security of the state. Wildlife and wildlife habitats should be conserved and sustainably managed to meet the social, economic, ecological, cultural, recreational and spiritual needs of the present and future generations of people in the state.
The Forest Department is organized into 12 territorial circles and 23 divisions. In addition, one Senior Officer of the rank of Deputy Conservator of Forests functions as Planning and Extension Officer in each district.
