YONO SBI 20 Under Twenty Awards

State Bank of India, an Indian multinational that is government-owned launched the ‘YONO 20 under Twenty' awards to facilitate young achievers. YONO, which is the first comprehensive digital platform to offer lifestyle and banking services has gained much attention among Indian youth. Instead of this, SBI recognized and rewarded 20 young achievers who were selected from 10 diverse fields, including; sustainability, performing arts, entrepreneurship, global Indian, acting, sports, and disability champion.

In October 2018, SBI began to identify 100 young achievers who have visualized the change in the world. An esteemed jury panel that consisted of 8 eminent personalities like Soha li Khan, Dia Mirza, Boria Majumdar, Sashi Sreedharan, Dilip Asbe, Mallika Dua, then boiled down the list to 60 with equal male and female nominees. The entire process was managed by KPMG, which is an audit firm.
During the process, the jury members decided to shortlist three names, i.e., three males and three females under each category to undergo a public voting process. Eventually, one winner from each group was decided who will be facilitated ad conferred with awards for their respective contribution at a grand ceremony in Bengaluru.

YONO SBI 20 Under Twenty Awards is an endeavor to strengthen the bank's appeal and thereby to establish a connection with the youth. It is believed that the awards will make these winners positively influence, motivate, and encourage the youth of India to dream big.
Achievers are neither born with some magical powers nor do they achieve because they are lucky. It is a result of efforts, ideas, and faith that make them successful. Hence, it is equally important to recognize every possible effort that one makes in the path of becoming great innovators.
