Coding Decoding Quiz 19

shape Introduction

A code is ‘arrangement of signs’. Accordingly, coding is a process for transmitting a message between the sender and the recipient without a third individual knowing it.
The coding and decoding test is set up to judge the candidate’s capacity to interpret the rule that codes a specific word/message and break the code to interpret the word. The article Coding Decoding Quiz 19 presents the important questions related coding and decoding topic.
Coding and decoding are divided into eight types. They are:
    1. Letter coding 2. Direct letter coding 3. Number/Symbol coding 4. Matrix coding 5. Substitution coding 6. Deciphering message word coding 7. Deciphering number and symbol codes for messages 8. Jumbled coding

Direction[1-5]: Study the following information carefully and answer the questions given below.
In a certain code language, ‘tell sold memo today’ is written as ‘dsl& nsda+ nrl% dlm#’ ‘solo study bell yield‘ is written as ‘hxel% dal& nrl# srud+’ ‘way loved polo seal’ is written as ‘zv+ nkve% dra& nol# ‘money feed heel redo’ is written as ‘dqd# dge& nlne+ dee%’

shape Q1

Which of the following code for ‘someday good’?
    A. nrmeda+ pno% B. nrmedag+ pno% C. nrmeda+ nfo% D. nrmeda+ nfoo%

In this code language, there are some letters given we have to find the exact code used for them.
Example- today
Step I- interchange the first two letters with themselves and decrement by 1 alphabet like‘t’ is replaced with ‘o’ previous
letter i.e. n and in same way ‘o’ is replaced with‘t’ previous letter i.e. s
Step II- remaining letters remains same i.e. ‘da’.
Step III- the last word is coded as the symbol ‘+’
So, the above rule is applicable as it is all questions but the last letter in every word is coded as symbols:
L is coded as ‘&’;
Y is coded as ‘+’
D is coded as ‘%’
O is coded as ‘#’.
So, the today is coded as ‘nsda+’.
So, colonial is coded as ‘nblonia&’.

shape Q2

Which of the following code for ‘epilepsy’?
    A. odilepsy+ B. odileps+ C. doileps+ D. doileps%

In this code language, there are some letters given we have to find the exact code used for them.
Example- today
Step I- interchange the first two letters with themselves and decrement by 1 alphabet like‘t’ is replaced with ‘o’ previous
letter i.e. n and in same way ‘o’ is replaced with‘t’ previous letter i.e. s

L is coded as ‘&’;
Y is coded as ‘+’
D is coded as ‘%’
O is coded as ‘#’.
So, the today is coded as ‘nsda+’.
So, colonial is coded as ‘nblonia&’.

shape Q3

Which of the following is code for ‘magneto’?
    A. mbgnet# B. zlgnet& C. zlgnet# D. mlgnet#

In this code language, there are some letters given we have to find the exact code used for them.
Example- today

So, colonial is coded as ‘nblonia&’.

shape Q4

In the given code language, what does the code ‘nblonia&’ stand for?
    A. coloinal B. coolonial C. colonial D. oblonial

In this code language, there are some letters given we have to find the exact code used for them.
Example- today
Step I- interchange the first two letters with themselves and decrement by 1 alphabet like‘t’ is replaced with ‘o’ previous
letter i.e. n and in same way ‘o’ is replaced with‘t’ previous letter i.e. s

So, colonial is coded as ‘nblonia&’.

shape Q5

Which of the following code is for “Monday stud yell”
    A. nlnday+ rtud& xdl& B. nlnda+ sru% dxl& C. nlnda+ sur& dxl% D. dxl+ sur& nlnda#

In this code language, there are some letters given we have to find the exact code used for them.
Example- today
