Understanding the NABARD Grade A Exam Pattern and syllabus will help the candidates in devising effective preparation strategies. Speed/Time management is vital in obtaining a good score in any competitive exam and hence, analysis of NABARD Grade A Exam Pattern and syllabus is very crucial to be able to complete the exams in the stipulated time.
The NABARD Grade A selection process has three phases: Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Interview.

Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 200 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 120 Minutes duration consisting of 7 sections as follows.

Main Examamination will consists of two papers i.e. Paper I - Descriptive Test for 100 marks with 4 sections [Essay (40 Marks), Precis (20 Marks), Questions on the Precis para (20 Marks), Report/ Letter Writing (20 Marks)] and Paper II - MCQ's for 100 marks.

Paper-I General English 100 1 ½ hr
Paper-II
I) For Grade A (RDBS):
i) Economic & Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India)
ii) Specialized Discipline Paper on related discipline Duration: 1 ½ hrs. – 100 Marks
II) For Grade A Rajbhasha:
The Paper will have multiple choice questions. Duration: 1 ½ hrs – 100 marks
Proficiency in Hindi including Translation from English to Hindi and Vice versa. The analytical and drafting ability of the candidate shall also be assessed from the descriptive paper.
III) For Grade A (Legal Services):
The paper will have multiple choice questions. Duration: 1 ½ hrs – 100 marks
