SAT Testing Process

What is SAT Testing Process? This refers to the way or procedures in which the test will appear to be, conducted, accessed and taken as demanded by the administrators after the admission of an aspirant into a test center.

What is the time scheduling based on the testing process?
  • An aspirant or test taker should be aware of the regular stated times for the test day below;
    • Testing Starts: 8:30am – 9:00am
    • Testing Duration: 3:00h – 3h:50m
    • Testing Stops: 12:00pm – 1:00pm
    • The aspirant should know the break time is excluded from the above timing.
What does an aspirant need to know about the testing process?
  • The test taker should be expecting the test to flow as thus once been verified and all seated on the assigned seats;

    • The test question and answer sheets would be shared among aspirants just like in every other exam.

    • The coordinators of the exam would read the instructional manual as written to that which is expected to follow and know by an aspirant pertaining to the test.

    • The time to start, allocated time for each section (as stated in our SAT Test Pattern) of the test and the time to stop each section or the entire test would be indicated and mandated by the coordinators.

    • Each section (in our SAT Syllable) of the test time allocated for each section must be utilized by an aspirant before proceeding to the next section because an aspirant can’t go back or access an ended or already concluded section.

    • There is a short (5mins) and long (10mins) break period observed during the test administration for all aspirants but more break time for Disabled aspirants.

    • All testing materials are subjected to be kept on the aspirant’s desk inside the exam hall or room & the test taker is not allowed to use any device during break periods.

    • An aspirant is to use an approved calculator, writing materials (pencil & eraser) and watch (optional) for the test.

    • The calculator would be made use of only on the Math section that is mandated for it.

    • The aspirants are dismissed from the test center only if the test sheets are collected and counted by the coordinators immediately the test is signaled “Time-Up” to ensure all the aspirants have submitted.

    • A test taker might not experience exactly the same as the testing process above because there might be cases of change at times and the issue of SAT Accommodations may cause different testing process for aspirants.
  • The test coordinators has the ultimatum to collect and hold any prohibited materials in the test center and are not questionable for loss of personal belongings of any aspirant kept within the surrounding while in the test hall.

  • If any test taker falls a victim of defaulting the SAT Test Center Policies, will face the penalty involved and would not be able to finish the testing process.

  • Furthermore, when the above testing time is observed strictly without any hindrance, by exactly 12pm (SAT without essay) or 1pm (SAT with essay), the testing process for aspirants must be concluded unless otherwise for disabled aspirants with accommodations or considerations.
