Notification
The Staff Selection Commission released the official notification of SSC CGL 2019 on 22nd October 2019 and closing date for filling the online applications is 25-11-2019.
The date of computer based online exam tier 1 will be conducted from 02-03-2020 to 11-03-2020. The last date for the Payment through SBI Challan is 29-11-2019.
Interested and eligible candidates will have to register online through staff selection commission official website: Register Here. The SSC CGL Exam will be conducted in four tiers. Candidates will have to qualify in tier 1, tier 2, tier 3 and tier 4 with high score to secure rank in merit list.

Vacancy
Firm number of vacancies will be notified in due course in official website of SSC. for applicants to recruit the applicants to the position of Inspector, Assistant, Sub Inspector, Tax Assistant, Auditor, and more other.
Reservation:
(i) Firm number of vacancies will be determined at the time of Document Verification i.e. about one month before the declaration of the final results.
(ii) Reservation for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Ex-Serviceman (ExS) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates for all categories of posts/ services, wherever applicable and admissible, would be as determined and communicated by the Indenting Ministries/ Departments/ Offices/ Cadres, as per extant Government Orders.
(iii) Vacancies for ExS are reserved for only Group “C” posts as per extant Government Order/ Instructions.

Exam Centre
A candidate must indicate the Centre in the Application Form in which he/she desires to take the Tier I examination.
- SSC usually opt a very basic strategy for allocating the exam center. The candidates are normally allotted the centre of examination opted by them while sub center is allotted as per his ticket number. But sometimes, there are more candidates in comparable capacity.
- In such case, SSC shifts such candidates to the nearest exam center of the applied examination center.
- The women and physically challenged candidates are exempted/relaxed. They usually get the desired/filled examination center.
- A candidate must carefully indicate the centre in the application form with respect to the examination.
- A candidate must submit his/her application only to the concerned regional/sub regional office of the commission under whose jurisdiction the centre selected by him/her falls.
- A candidate must indicate the Centre in the Application Form in which he/she desires to take the Tier I examination.

Note:
(i): No change of Centre of Examination will normally be allowed. Hence, the candidates should select the centres carefully and indicate the same correctly in their applications.
(ii): The Commission reserves the right to cancel any Centre and ask the candidates of that centre to appear from another centre. Commission also reserves the right to divert candidates of any centre to some other Centre within the Region or outside to take the examination.
