What is Reasoning Ability Test? A logical reasoning test is a form of psychometric testing that is widely used by corporate employers to help assess candidates during their recruitment process. 'Psychometric' is just a fancy way of saying 'measuring mental ability' and logical reasoning tests are designed to measure your non-verbal skills.
The article SSC MTS Reasoning Ability Quiz 8 provides Reasoning Ability questions with answers useful to the candidates preparing for Competitive exams, Entrance exams, Interviews etc. The SSC MTS Reasoning Ability section in Computer Based Examination contains 25 questions with 25 Maximum Marks (Each question carry 1 Mark). There will be negative marking and 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer. SSC MTS Tier I scheduled to be conducted on 02.08.2019 to 06.09.2019 & Tier II exam is scheduled to be conducted on 17.11.2019.

Direction(1-5): Study the following information carefully to answer the given questions.
Ten persons are sitting in two parallel rows containing five persons each in such a way that there is equal distance between adjacent persons. In row – 1, D, E, F, G and H are seated and all of them are facing south but not necessarily in the same order. In row – 2, T, U, V, W and X are seated and all of them are facing north but not necessarily in the same order. Therefore in the given seating arrangement, each member seated in a row faces another member of the other row. There are two people sit between the one who likes Green and the one who likes Purple. W sits second to the left of U. U faces the one who is an immediate neighbour of D. There are two people sit between the one who likes Pink and the one who likes Brown. G is not an immediate neighbour of D. G does not sit at the extreme end of the row. The one who likes orange sits in the middle between the one who likes Pink and the one who likes White. X does not face H. The one who likes Pink faces the one who likes Green. There are two people sit between the one who likes Red and the one who likes Black.

7 Persons namely Ajay, Mano, Nirmal, Gopi, Pranav, Sai and Raj will appear for a different exam but not necessarily in the same order in 7 different months of the same year namely January, February, April, May, July, September and December.
  • Each of them also like a different genre of Movies namely Family, Action, Comedy, Reality, Animated, History and Thrilled but not necessarily in the same order

  • Gopi will appear for an exam in a month which has only 30days. Only one person will appear between the one who likes Animated movie and Gopi.

  • The one who likes action will appear for an exam immediately before the one who likes Animated movie. The one who likes thriller will appear for an exam neither in the month which has 31 days nor in the month which has 30 days.

  • Only 2 persons will appear for an exam between the one who likes Thriller and Sai. Mano will appear for an exam immediately after Sai and does not like action movie. Raj will appear for an exam immediately before Nirmal. Pranav Likes History movie and appear for an exam in December.

  • The one who likes family movie will appear for an exam in a month which has 31 days. Gopi does not like comedy movie.
